Who we are
A meeting place for two nations
The Kurdistan Society brings together people and institutions with a role in the relationship between the United Kingdom and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. From our base in London, we convene policymakers, diplomats, business leaders, academics, artists, and civil-society voices to exchange knowledge, develop relationships, and identify practical areas for cooperation.
Our work rests on a relationship built over generations — one of shared interests, mutual respect, and genuine friendship. We are here to give that relationship a home, and a momentum.

The United Kingdom and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq have longstanding ties spanning diplomacy, security, education, humanitarian cooperation, trade, and culture.
