Independence
A non-partisan platform that owes its allegiance to the relationship, not to any government or interest.

An independent, London-based platform for dialogue, culture, and partnership between the United Kingdom and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The Kurdistan Society exists to strengthen the relationship between the United Kingdom and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI). We do it through dialogue, culture, education, and strategic engagement — and through the simple conviction that understanding is the foundation of every enduring partnership.
We are a non-profit organisation based in London, offering a respected and independent space where policymakers, diplomats, scholars, business leaders, journalists, artists, and civil-society voices can meet on equal terms. We take no side but the relationship itself.

Our work reflects Kurdistan’s role in regional stability, its economic momentum, and the depth of its cultural heritage — and it looks always to what the UK and Kurdistan can build together next.
A non-partisan platform that owes its allegiance to the relationship, not to any government or interest.
A relationship built over generations on shared interests, mutual respect, and genuine warmth.
Honest dialogue and cultural exchange that turn acquaintance into genuine, informed engagement.
Practical collaboration across diplomacy, business, education, and the arts, for a shared future.

Our programme spans five core areas of activity, each designed to turn goodwill into lasting connection.
